Komodo National Park

Komodo National Park is located in the administrative area of East Nusa Tenggara Province.

This national park consists of three large islands Komodo Island, Rinca Island, and Padar Island as well as several other smaller islands. The land area of this national park is 603 km² and the total area is 1817 km².

In 1980, this national park was established to protect the Komodo dragon and its habitat. In this national park there are 277 animal species which are a mix of animals from Asia and Australia, consisting of 32 mammal species, 128 bird species, and 37 reptile species. Together with the Komodo dragon, at least 25 species of land animals and birds are included as protected animals, due to their limited number or limited distribution. In addition, in this area there are also coral reefs. At least 253 species of reef-building corals are found there, with about 1,000 species of fish. The beauty of this reef attracts foreign tourists to swim or dive in these waters.

These islands were originally volcanic islands. The population in this area is approximately 4,000 people. In 1991 this national park was accepted as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

On November 11, 2011, New 7 Wonders announced the provisional winner, and Komodo National Park entered the ranks along with, the Amazon Forest, Halong Bay, Iguazu Falls, Jeju Island, Puerto Princesa Underground River, and Table Mountain. Komodo National Park got the most votes.

Photo hunting on Padar island and Soft Trekking
Return to the ship and continue Breakfast. Continue journey to Pink Beach / Long Beach, snorkeling and photo hunting Lunch
Continue to Manta Point Towards Taka Makasar
Go to Gili Lawa / Siaba, sunset point. Dinner and free program

Day 3 (Include Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Enjoying the sunrise on Gili Laba / Siaba Breakfast on the boat
Heading to Kanawa Island, photo hunting and snorkeling
The journey back to Labuan Bajo Finish sailing
